Unlike other cities in California, Los Angeles isn't a compact community but a sprawling suburbia comprised of a host of locales along the ocean and in the desert basin. Ocean breezes blow Pacific air from the coastline to the San Gabriel and San Fernando valleys, where many three-bedroom homes and gorgeous condos house some of L.A.'s most satisfied residents.
